"With a heavy heart we would like to notify family and friends of the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Fernando worked many years for Mike Simmon Supplies, Coca Cola Company, and retired from Cochise College as maintenance supervisor. Fernando, 'Tata Ferni,' has been the light and laughter of his big and extended family. His laughter and sense of humor will forever be remembered and missed. Fernando is survived by his wife Delia, his five children Sandra (Richard), Cecilia (Abraham), Cristobal (Moriama), Brenda (Sergio), Reynaldo (Lupita), his five stepchildren Amanda (Raul), Rosa (Francisco), Marta (Oscar) Mario (Rita), and Jaime. Fernando also leaves eight brothers and sisters; Thomas, Jorge, Miguel, Rebecca, Sergio, Norma, and Arturo along with twenty seven grandchildren, thirty five great grandchildren and numerous friends and extended family. He knew and cherished each one of us. He had special names for all of us which always made us laugh and feel special. Fernando, our lives will be so empty without you, but thank you for all the wonderful memories we all can rejoice in. A Rosary for Fernando will be recited on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Brown- Page Mortuary Chapel. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at St. Luke’s Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cristobal Rios, Adrian Blaine, Reynaldo Rios, Sergio and Cristian Para, Abraham Peraza Jr. and Sr., Jesus Romero. Honorary Pallbearer is Mario Lopez. Tata’s favorite goodbye was 'Que Jehová los acompañe,' 'May God be with you.' He never let us leave without giving us his blessing, and so today we all bow our heads and hearts, and wish the man of the house our last farewell, 'Ferni,' 'Que Jehová te acompañe.' "
