Mrs. Rose Ann Stephens was called into eternal rest in Tucson, AZ.

Mrs. Stephens was an active parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She held a key role in creating the Adoration Chapel. She was a lector and was recognized as Volunteer of the Year by the Reach-Out Pregnancy Help Center. Mrs. Stephens was dedicated to the Divine Mercy Vision.

She retired from the Plainfield and Lodi, NJ, high school education systems and held a master's degree in math.

Mrs. Stephens was the daughter of Mary and Anthony Zatwornak of Linden, NJ.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Manuel Stephens; and her siblings, Bruno Zatwornak, Emily Czarnecki, Joe Warnicka, Helen Palchanes, and John Zatwornak.

Mrs. Stephens is survived by her nieces and nephews, Janice, Leona, James, Theresa, Joan, Cynthia, Bonnie, and Joe.

A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2015, at St. John the Evangelist Church. Interment will follow at South Lawn Cemetery, Tucson, AZ.
