Jane Shelton, 87, of Sullivan passed away at 7:45 a.m. Sunday (Jan. 11, 2015) at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur.
Jane was born March 28, 1927 in Lovington, the daughter of Everett M. and Leta D. (Hudson) Bailey. She married George Edward Shelton on Jan. 12, 1947 in Decatur. He preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
Jane was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Crystal Chapter No. 39, Sullivan, and she was very dedicated to her family and husband.
She is survived by her son, Steven M. (Judy) Shelton; daughter, Debra (Mark) Medlyn; brother, Donald Bailey; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
