Jo-Ellen Weber, 72, Wausau, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Jo-Ellen was born August 4, 1942 to the late Alfred and Edna (Reeves) Rotell in Milwaukee. She married William Garinger, he died in 1982 and they had three children together. In 1989 Jo-Ellen married Wayne Weber in Wausau. Jody loved being the head of the flock. She had a passion for her family. One of Jody's heartfelt accomplishments was establishing a relationship with her siblings George and Ardy. Jody was otherwise known as Grandma 2. She loved her grandchildren and she didn't want anything more than her family to be at peace. Jody was a peace keeper with a love for dancing, genealogy, gambling and playing cards. She was a role model to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. She has served as the head of her household and her family and her legacy will live on for generations to come.Survivors include her two daughters, Darcia Garinger (Marty Krueger), Wausau and Carrie (Rex Bergs) Garinger, Fenwood; daughter-in-law, Sara Garinger, Weston; five grandchildren, Amanda (Seth) Bessette, Tiffany (Zachary) Harris, Mitchell Henke, Chelsea Garinger and Brett Erickson; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ardith Parsells, Wausau; and her brother, George (Ann) Rotell, Schofield. Besides her husband, Wayne Weber, she was also preceded in death by her son, Shawn Garinger.Funeral visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the Brainard Funeral Home Everest Chapel, 5712 Memorial Court Weston. Burial will be at Bent Cemetery in Bryant Wisconsin at a later date.
