Luella served in the Women's Army Corp in World War II and continued her service at the VA as a dental technician.
Luella will be remembered by her loving family and is survived by her youngest sister, Charlotte Lawson. She is also survived by nephews and nieces of her late brother and 4 sisters, and her surviving sister: Charles Robert Lawson, Cathy Lawson, Dorothy Pollich, Sylvia Johns Bell, Bobby McAlexander, Sherry Gilreath, Mickey Sadler, Jennifer Thompson, Annette Faulkner, Ken Lawson, Mike Lawson, and Samantha Thigpen.
