FUNERAL HELD FOR DROWNED BROTHERS
Bivalve - A double funeral was held in the Messick Funeral Home here for Reynolds Robert Horner, 49 and his brother, Granville Gorman Horner, 46.
The two brother drowned Wednesday while tending their stake nets in the Nanticoke River, off of Bivalve.
The Rev. Howard L. Gordy, pastor of the Quantico Methodist Charge, officiated at the 11 a.m. service yesterday.
Burial was in the Bivalve Cemetery.
Surviving are their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Alfonzo Horner of Bivalve, and two brothers, Clarence Horner of Tyaskin and Roy Horner of Bivalve.
