Imal Pauline Hepler Dail was promoted to her eternal home in Heaven on January 12, 2015.

Imal was born October 1, 1919 in Ravenden Springs, Arkansas to the late Ralph J. And Willie Mae Baird Hepler.

October, 1940 Imal was united in marriage to Richard Homer Dail in West Plaines, MO. To this union seven children were born.

Ms. Imal attended school at Ravenden Springs walking 2 miles everyday to school. Later she moved with her parents to Ravenden and rode the school bus to Williford High School where she graduated as Valedictorian. In 1967 she started working for the Head Start Program. She attended Southern Baptist College now know as Williams Baptist College, Arkansas State University, and University of Houston Texas receiving a Bachelor’s Degree.

Children were the main interest in her life beginning with the arrival of a baby sister when she was nine years of age and continuing through her great grandchildren.

Ms. Imal was an active member of the Ravenden Baptist Church holding many offices, VFW women Auxiliary, and The Eastern Star.

Since the early 1960’s Imal has been the Ravenden correspondent for the Imboden Journal and later the Ozark Journal.

Traveling became her passion. In 2007 she completed her travels to all 50 states. She later married Wally Flowers.

She is survived by 3 sons; Jack (Wanda) Dail, Larry “Butch” (Doris) Dail, and Ted L. (Cheryl) Dail. 2 daughters; Janice (Wilbur) Mead and Betty J. (Byron) Busby, step-daughter Alice Flowers, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, son-in-law Roscoe Spencer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband Richard H. Dail and second husband Wally Flowers, sister Wanda L. Bailey, son Donnie Dail, daughter Billie “Cookie” Spencer, and grandson Rodney A. Spencer.

Burial will be Dail Cemetery.
