Leah Hoff, was born in Lancaster county, PA, October 19th, 1841, and died in Grandview, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Kemp, Dec. 23, 1921, at the age of 80 years, 2 months and 4 days. She was married to Philip Hahn, August 4th, 1864, and they came to Louisa county, Iowa about 1869. six children were born to them, one dying in infancy. Mrs. Elizabeth Eberhartof Spokane, Washington died March 10, 1915. Mrs. Mary Kemp of Grandview, Charles Hahn of Port Louisa, Will Hahn, his present address unknown, Fred Hahn of Granveville, Idaho, and sixteen grandchildren survive.
Funeral services were held at the home of her daughter at Grandview, conducted by H.L.Graham. Burial is in the Grandview Cemetery.
