Robert "Bob" P. Wyche, Jr
April 10, 1921 - January 8, 2015

Robert P. “Bob” Wyche, Jr., 93, of Beaumont, died Thursday, January 8, 2015, at The Clarewood House Extended Care Center, Houston. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on April 10, 1921, to Opie Reid Heflin Wyche and Robert P. Wyche, Sr., and had been a longtime resident of Beaumont.

Robert was a United States Army Air Corps veteran having served in World War II. He attended McMurray College and graduated from Texas Christian University after the war. Robert retired as a general manager with Container Corporation of America. He was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the John Lands Couple Class.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Wyche, of Beaumont; children, Anne Sexton, of Missouri City and Richard Wyche, of Houston; and grandchildren, William Alan Sexton and Laura Anne Sexton.

Robert is preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Caviness and Virginia McEathern.

Bob enjoyed traveling in his travel trailer, square dancing with his beloved wife, and spoiling his grandchildren. His presence will be missed but his memories will be cherished.

A memorial service for Mr. Wyche will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 3430 Harrison Avenue, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A private graveside service was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
