She worked a bookkeeper for the former London’s Department Store and also for the Augat Company for many years before retiring. A lifelong Attleboro resident, Mrs. Beatty was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church. She was an avid reader, used to knit, and crochet. Her and her late husband took part in the Paragon – Collette Travel tours, and travelled cross country on numerous tours.
She is survived by her longtime friends and caregivers, Annette Brown of Attleboro and Diane Fournier. She was the sister of the late Joseph Fontneau.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, from THE FOLEY-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 South Main Street, Attleboro, Massachusetts, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Evangelist Church, North Main St., Attleboro, with burial to follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery.
