Jesse Reginald Green, 75, of West Paducah, KY, passed away at 7:00 am Saturday, January 10, 2015 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith and a retired Captain with ACBL Towing Company.
Jesse was born in Paducah, KY on Tuesday, July 18, 1939 to Floyd and Elizabeth Green. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion of Sharpe, KY, Masonic Lodge #707, Rizpah Shriners, and achieved 32nd Degree of the West Kentucky Scottish Rite of Free Masonry.
He is survived by his step mother, Eldora Green Teagardner, of Cincinnati, OH; his sisters, Lorine Sullivan, of Cadiz, KY, Joyce Bryant and husband Julian, of Cincinnati, OH and Glenora Green, of Cincinnati, OH; his brothers, Larry Green and wife Mary, of West Paducah, KY, Charles Green and wife Susan, of North Las Vegas, NV and Tommy Green and wife Tammy, of Cincinnati, OH, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Floyd Green and Mary Elizabeth Green Shidal; his sisters, Nell De Bartolis, Reba Ballard and Nellie Jacobson and his brother, Jessie Earl Green.
