Mildred Alford Cayson Peck, age 90, entered into rest January 10, 2015. Mildred was born March 26, 1924 in Altha, FL to Sam and Susie Alford. She was married to the late W.B. Cayson and the late Hartley Peck and had lived most of her life in Tallahassee. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother, always willing to help anyone that needed help. Mildred was a God fearing person who loved church and gospel music. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Violet Alford; stepmother, Bessie Alford; son, Samuel Sedita Cayson; brothers, James Alford, Joe Alford, Sam Alford, Jr.; sisters, Velma Lamee, Thelma Whitfield, Vida Sawyer and Bonnie Bailey. Survivors include her daughter, Savoia Cecilia Hernandez; sons, William Bryant "Bill" Cayson and wife Lvonne, Richard Terrell Cayson and wife Cheri; sister, Betty Watson,brother, Robert Lee "R.L." Alford; daughter-in-law, Janis Hicks Cayson Culp and husband Charles; stepdaughter, Phyllis Peck Clark and husband Walter; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
