Hazel Sparks, 63, wife of David Sparks passed away Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Clark Regional Medical Center. She was a former employee of the Lycoma Shoe factory and Continental Metal Specialties and a member of the Black Creek Holiness Church. She is survived by her husband David Sparks of Clay City, two sons Michael David Sparks and Josh Daniel Sparks, both of Clay City, one daughter Michelle Leigh Allen of Stanton, three grandchildren Tyler Allen, Austin Sparks and Julia Sparks. She was preceded in death by her parents Dewey Francis Hall and Julia Ann Snowden Hall, two brothers Montfort "Jack" Hall and Langley "Sonny Buck" Hall, five sisters Leona Gilley, Betty "Ladybug" Goodwin, Madgie Hatton, Gertrude Richardson and Agnes Dailey. Visitation will be 5-9PM Thursday, January 1, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Sammy Faulkner and Bro. Herbert Barnett officiating. Burial will be in the Clark Cemetery (also known as Vaughns Mill Cemetery).
