Eva Mae Robbins, 79, of Manila, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2004, at her home. Born at Popular Ridge near Monette, she was the daughter of the late Joel and Omah Simpson Meeker and had been a Manila resident for the past 50 years. The widow of Curtis Robbins, she was a retired custodian of Manila Public School and was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Manila.

She is survived by three sons, Dan Robbins of Manila, Randall Robbins of Clinton, Miss., and Joey Robbins of Leachville; two daughters, Oma Jean Robbins of Manila and Janie Douglass of Clinton, Miss.; a brother, Guy Meeker of Leachville; a sister, Bessie Master of Manila; 10 grandchildren, Beth Jolliff, Matthew Robbins, Ashley Robbins, Will Robbins, Kelli Douglass, Morgan Douglass, Mollie Douglass, Sara Robbins, Ben Robbins and Brad Robbins; and two great-grandchildren, Abbie and Garrett Jolliff.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Bethany Baptist Church in Manila with Rev. Don Phillips and Rev. Farrell Duffell officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Donald Master, Gary Bunch, Franklin D. Williams, Jackie Parker, Tommy Towles, and Matt Jackson. Honorary Pallbearers were Sammy Parker, Athel Parker, Jerry Hitchcock, Paul Wayne Hicks, Paul Robbins and Wayne Shedd.
