Della Mae was the granddaughter of David Allen Copeland & Della Faye Harris Copeland; the oldest grandchild of Charlie & Mae Coffey Clark and the oldest child of Rev. Fred and Myrtle Clark Copeland.
She was a 1958 graduate of Oakdale High, Morgan County and a 1961 graduate of the Baroness Erlanger School of Practical Nursing in Chattanooga Tennessee. She worked as a LPN at Baptist hospital for several years and at least one other hospital in the Nashville area plus she worked several years in home health.
On August 19, 1961 she married the love of her life Lloyd Kivett. Della was a very caring & giving person and went out of her way to make each person feel special. She was a people person, calling friends and family members very often just to say hi. She loved sending gifts and cards for all occasions, sometimes a card to give a thank you for a thank you card for one of her gifts. She is missed!

Mrs. Della M. Kivett, of Madison, Tennessee, passed from this life on January 7th, 2015. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church in Nashville.
She is preceded in death by her son, Rodney Lee Kivett, and her parents, Reverend Fred and Mrs. Myrtle Copeland.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Lloyd Kivett, her sister Nancy Horton, niece; Christa Biddle and aunt Eva Solomon of Ringgold Georgia.
Visitation will be Saturday from 12-2pm at Phillps-Robinson Funeral Home, at 2707 Gallatin Rd. in Nashville. Service will be Saturday, January 10th at 2pm in their Chapel.
Rev. Ken Castleberry and Rev. Gordon Hazwkins will be officiating.
A second service was held at Rankin Church in Oakdale, TN on Sunday, January 11th at 2pm with Rev. Bill Goodman officiating. Internment immediately followed at Roane Memorial Gardens. [Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home, Nashville, TN in charge of arrangements]
