This is a Poem written by his Granddaughter Jennifer at his passing.

I would describe my grandpa by saying his actions always spoke louder than his words. I know many of you knew my grandpa, probably better than I, but what I can tell you that you do not know, is what I have learned from him as I have grown.
I have seen a man, my grandpa cherish his wife and family. I have seen a man, who has shown greatness and power without speaking a word. I have seen a man, who always seemed to me, to be content no matter what. I have seen a man, who I never heard complain about much. I have seen a man, who saw something that needed to be done and just did it, without uttering a word. I have seen a man, who knew the real joys in life are not found in material things. I have seen a man, who has loved so many. I have seen a man, who has give his money, time, and whatever resouces he's had away, for the good of those around him. I have seen a man, who enjoyed the simple things in life, a walk through the park, getting nice things in the mail, a visitor, or sitting outside just absorbing the day in. I have seen a man, who has never grown weary of spending time with his family, as some do today. I have seen a man who has never spoken a discouraging word to me. I have seen a man who was always behind me, supporting me, believing in me, in this journey of life and the love he has shown is far greater than I could have ever known. I could never pay a collage or school for what he has bestowed, for my grandfather taught me to drink from my saucer for my cup has over flowed. Thank you grandpa. Jenny
