Larry Don Lewis, 67, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015.

Funeral service will be held 10 am Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Faith Covenant Church. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Larry was born January 15, 1947 in Phillips, Texas to William Herschel and Esther Bonnie Lewis. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. Nothing brought joy to his life like his grandkids. An all around athlete, Larry played basketball, baseball and football for Phillips. He continued playing basketball at Texas Tech University where he received his bachelor degree. Larry also proudly served in the Air National Guard.

He is preceded in death by his dad, Herschel Lewis and brother, David Glen Lewis.

Survivors include his wife, Gail of the home; sons, Clay Lewis and wife, Lisa of Middletown, NJ, Matt Lewis and wife, Amanda of Borger; mother, Esther Lewis of Borger; four grandchildren, Abby, Tatum, Owen and Collins.

BORGER — Larry Don Lewis, 67, of Borger died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015.
