She was one of seven daughters born to the late George and Hattie Mae (McNeal) Jones on January 5, 1924.
She was the widow to the late Rogers Barnett. She was a loving mother of nine children. She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Henrietta Green (John) Plainville, CT, Viola Mack Hartford, CT, Janice Mack Plainville, CT and three sons, Ozell Mack (Jean H.) Bristol, CT, Benjamin Mack Bristol, CT and Melvin Mack New Haven, CT. Hosts of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sorrowing friends and church family.
She was preceded in death by 3 sons, James Jones (Maria), Kenneth Mack and Robert Mack (Bertha).
The funeral will be held Thursday, 11am at Redeemers AME Church, 110 Whiting St., Plainville, CT 06062.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, from 9-11am at the church. Burial will follow in West Cemetery, Plainville. DuPont Funeral Home, 25 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, is assisting the family.
