Woodrow (Woody) Aulik, age 83, a long time resident of Francis Creek, passed away January 10, 2015, at the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center. Woody was born on February 13, 1931, son of the late John and Julia Aulik. On August 28, 1954, he married Agnes Peterik.
For many years he owned and operated Woody's Auto Body in Francis Creek, WI. He also owned the Corner Bar in Rockwood, Woody's Standard Station in Denmark, and Woody's Auto Body in Shoto. He loved working on cars and the towing business.
He enjoyed traveling with friends, playing cards, fishing on his boat, flying small planes, and spending time with his family. He also entertained family and friends by playing the organ, guitar, piano, and accordion. He made everyone laugh with his stories; the man with a million stories.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Scott and Ann Kinnunen, one grandson: Jamie and Sara Aulik, four great-grandchildren: Bastille, Dayne, Billie, and Everhett Aulik, one daughter-in-law: JoAnn Aulik, and one sister: Shirley Larson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Aulik, two sons, Rick and Dale Aulik, and his granddaughter Elizabeth Aulik.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Cremation will follow at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc and burial of the cremated remains will be at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The Family will greet relatives and friends from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
