Clyde Warren Boling passed away on January 8, 2015 at age of 78. He was born to Clint and Bitha Boling in Holland, Texas on December 29, 1936.

Clyde was a graduate of McCallum High School and honorably served in the U.S. Army followed by a successful career at TRACOR, APC Industries and 3M where he was awarded several patents. He was a passionate runner and an original member of the Austin Runner's Club. Known as a fierce competitor, he completed ten marathons and countless other races.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Marshall Boling, Olive Fariss and Lillie Mae Cummings.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Lana (Becker) Boling; daughter and son-in-law Carla and Stephen Knippa; sons and daughters-in-law, Eric and Julie Boling and Kris and Christy Boling; grandchildren, Clay and Amber Knippa, Kelli Knippa and Haley Boling; brother-in-law/best friend and sister-in-law Andrew and Carolyn Becker and numerous other family and friends.

The family will greet guests at a visitation at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Funeral services to celebrate Clyde's life will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1500 West Anderson Lane in Austin, Texas. Committal services will follow at Ridgeway Cemetery, 153 Ridgeway Cemetery Road in Paige, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers are: Eric Boling, Kris Boling, Stephen Knippa, Clay Knippa, Charles Fariss, Gary Becker, Chris Hartenstein and Wayne Klimovitz. Honorary pallbearers are the McCallum High School class of 1956.

Clyde was a devoted family man, a man of faith and a dependable friend. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the National Stroke Association or Redeemer Lutheran Church.
