Anna B. Ridenour, 78, died Monday morning at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born on March 1, 1930 in Eaton County Michigan. She owned several restaurants in the Angola area, the Round-UP, Ellis and the Country Kitchen, she also worked at the Hamilton House in Hamilton. She married Farrell O. Ridenour on April 19, 195o in Bryan, OH and he preceded her in death on May 24, 1996. She loved reading, going to garage sales and flowers and gardening. She is survived by daughters; Lynn Hale of Goshen, Theresa (Jerry) Whipple of Angola, Micky (Rodney) Mason of Angola, Jackie Page of Angola, and Valerie Davenport of Angola. Sons; Greg and Ruth Ridenour of Fort Wayne, Brad and Theresa Ridenour of Fremont, Rodney and Julie Ridenour of Fremont, Alec and Martha Harshey of Hemet, CA. One brother; Harold Cockroft of Alaska and one sister Mary Lou Roudebush. 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Howard and Fronie Holmes, a son Jeff Ridenour and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation is Thursday July 17, 2008 from 4-7 PM at the H.E. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home in Angola. Services will be Friday July 18, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Powers Cemetery east of Angola.

Howard and Fronie Holmes were her adopted parents.
