Mr. Bosserman was born Sept. 28, 1928, in York. He was the son of the late Mabel (Armold) Bosserman Crumling.
He retired from New York Wire Co. after 45 years of service and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict.
Mr. Bosserman is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Bosserman of Thomasville and Carl R. Bosserman Jr. of York; two daughters, Sharon Morrison and Holly Bosserman, both of York; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
The service will be 1 p.m. Friday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home, 902 Mount Rose Ave., York. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, with military rites by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Richard Harlacher.
