GEORGE MARTIN CLARK
February 11, 1941 - December 10, 2014

Mr. Clark, 73, Stockton, was born to George and Ella Clark in Cedar County at his family home. He died Wednesday.

He attended schools in Stockton, where he graduated, and Mizzou, where he was a walk on football player for a very brief time. He grew up farming with his dad. He also worked for a brief time with the Missouri Conservation Agency, and for 34 years at the United States Army Corps of Engineers as a heavy equipment operator.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Clark; four daughters, Lisa Nelson, Marcia Lee, Kristi Doukas, and Autumn McDonald; two stepsons, Charles Pierson and David Holder; two stepdaughters, Peggy Kenney and Julie Atwood; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Cully and Judy Oberly; a brother, Robert Clark; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents (his father in 1986); a brother, Oscar Clark; and two sisters, Minnie Mae Langford and Lyda Rogers.

A memorial service was at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at Brumback Funeral Home. The service was conducted by Harry Moore and Marsha Lee. The music was by Julie Morrow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cause for Paws, Box 1108, Stockton, Mo. 65785

Pallbearers were: Robert Lee, Kristan Demster, Brixey Nelson, Zivan House, Mike Nelson, Jason Evans, Randy Hudson, Troy Neese, David Holder, Kevin Demster, Lane Demster, Trey Collier, Doug Lee, Adrian House, Lynden Kenney, Josh Bays, Charles Pierson, and Steve Cully.
