In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Marilyn Louise (Grothaus) Seals in 2007 and brothers, Howard Seals and Gene Seals. Ed is survived by his children, Greg (Dianne) Seals of Cedarville, Dan Seals of Miamisburg, Sandy (Randy) Wilcox of Clinton, WA and Gina (John) Armstrong of Wheaton, IL; grandchildren, Monica, David (Angela), Valerie, Julie (Billy), Laura (Matt), Emily, Rachel, Jay and Lyndi; great grandchildren, Kyela, Everett, Ayden and Gunner; sisters, Bernice (Rollie) Altmann of Seattle, WA, Leona Booher of Lima, Doris Barnt of Greenville and Joyce Simmons of Greenville and his dear friend and companion, Yea Reynolds, of Dayton as well as many other extended family. Ed honorably served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and served the Lord faithfully. Ed was able to support his family well during his 30-year career with Frigidaire. After retirement, Ed found himself to be a successful real-estate owner and auto part entrepreneur which allowed him many more years of income.
