Born 1914 in Eureka, Utah son of Frank Robis and Anna Zubek daughter of Paul Zubek and Frances Dukovak.

Bill lived in Eureka until his father Frank Robis died in 1924 from Miners consumption. His mother Anna remarried Jul 29, 1925 to George Eror and the family later moved to Midvale, Utah.

Bill married Dewean they lived in Salt Lake later moving to Los Angeles where they operated a hotel in 1940

Bill was inducted in 1945 and served in the military.

They later moved back to Utah


Bill was an auto salesman in Salt Lake for many years working for the Ken Garff Co. and the Petty Ford dealerships.

He was a regular contributor to the Public Forum of the Salt Lake Tribune newspaper.
