Donna June Knox age 88 died Wednesday in Auburn. She was born on July 4, 1919 in Franklin Township to John and Audra E. (Houlton) Platt. Donna June was a graduate of International Business College. She worked at Marshall Clothing and was a homemaker. Donna June married Florin H. Knox on March 19, 1941 at her parents home. He preceded in death on September 24, 2006. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law Patrula and Dennis Newhard of Auburn and Julie Bunch and Paul Headley of Hamilton, three grandchildren Marni (Bil) Boyd of Wake Forest NC, Tyler Bunch of Naples FL, and Travis Bunch of Merrillville IN, two step grandchildren Todd Newhard of Ft. Pierce FL and Tami (Trent) Ruble of Fort Wayne, two step great grandchildren Taylor and Aaron Ruble of Fort Wayne, three sister-in-laws and a brother-in-law Onalee and Raymond Moughler of Waterloo; Gailanna Knox and Barb Knox of Auburn. She was prceded in death by her parents. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Auburn and former member of Jerusalem United Methodist Church, a member of the Franklin Friends. Funeral services for Donna June Knox will be Monday October 29th at 11:00 AM at H. E. Johnson & Son Funeral Home, Butler, with Pastor Ted Jansen officiating. Burial will be in the Eddy Cemetery, Hamilton.
