Elizabeth M. Mozart, 97, of Dedham and a former longtime Wrentham resident, died on April 3, 2009 in the Golden Living Center of Dedham. She was the beloved widow of George H. Mozart.
Born in Lewiston, Maine on March 25, 1912, she was a loving daughter of Fred and Josie So Faloska Grant. A homemaker, she had enjoyed her years living in Wrentham. She was an avid sewer and loved to knit as well. Her son recalls her as a “great mom”. At one time she had worked as attendant at the Pond Home in Wrentham. A gracious retirement community, it was there that she found the venue for expressing her need to care for others. She was the loving and devoted mother of George S. Mozart of Canton, and the late Charles S. Mozart, and the dear sister of the late Sigmund Grant. She was the caring and devoted grandmother of six grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to express condolences at 8 AM on Wednesday morning in the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, Route 1A, Wrentham Centre. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9 AM in St. Mary’s Church, 140 South Street, Route 1A, Wrentham Centre. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
