Mr. Harvey Vaught, 76 years old, died Sunday morning at his home two miles east of Science Hill after a long illness. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Union church with Rev. M.O. Shearer, of Monticello, in charge. Mr. Vaught was a man of splendid character and was held in high respect by his many friends throughout the county. He is survived by his wife and several children. Burial was in the Union Cemetery.
