Mary Frances Cage
April 14, 1929 - January 7, 2015

CRESAPTOWN, MD--Mary Frances Cage (Mom/Nana), 85, of Cresaptown, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 7, 2015.
Born April 14, 1929, in LaVale, MD, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Eva M. (Smith) Ravenscroft.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Larry Allen Cage; former husband, Paul F. Cage, Sr.; son-in-law, Robert A. Yost; brothers, William, Robert, and Thomas Ravenscroft; step-grandson, William T. Montgomery; and step-great-grandson, Corey A. Taylor.
Mrs. Cage was a former engraver at Queen City Glass Company and a former caregiver.
Mary Frances worked eight years with the Board of Education Cafeteria Workers at Vo-Tech, and she was a member of the Cresaptown First Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Carole A. Montgomery, LaVale; Paula F. Cage-Yost, Cresaptown; two sons, Paul F. Cage, Jr. and wife Janice, Jacksonville, FL; Christopher L. Cage, Sr. and fiancée Sarah J. Stosick, Cresaptown; two sisters, Martha M. Walton, Cresaptown; Doris K. Anderson, Baltimore; one brother, Ronald Ravenscroft and wife Vivian, Oldtown; twelve grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and one expected in Spring 2015; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; one great-great grandson expected in May 2015 (which will be the fifth generation on Mary Frances' side); three step-great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., Cresaptown, on Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at Cresaptown First Wesleyan Church on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Blaine Cutter, Jr. officiating.
Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to the service.
Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Patrick S. Leedy, Matthew A. Cage, Christopher L. Cage, Jr., Stephen A. Cage, Samuel A. Cage; and nephew, William H. Walton, III. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph G. Leedy, III and Robee J. Cage. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.
