CHILHOWIE, Va. Peggy Jean Holmes Gates, age 69, passed away at her home Wednesday January 7, 2015. She was preceded in death by her father, Ken Holmes, two daughters, Jean Pauley and Donna Bentley, and a great granddaughter, Taylor Dean. She is survived by Three Sons , Michael Bentley, David Bentley and wife Kim, and Kenneth Bentley; Two Daughters, Amy Parks, and Melissa Testerman; Mother, Ella Mae Holmes; Three Sisters , Sandra Smith and husband Gerald, Patsy Frye and husband Rodney, and Shirley Harris; Grandchildren; Lisa Dean, Alex Pauley, Megan Cregger, Danielle "Punkin" Testerman, Brooke Bentley, Kellie Bentley, Emily Widener and Parker Bentley; Great grandchildren, Landen Pauley, Kaitilyn Dean, Katrina Dean and Sydney Neal; Close family friends, Teresa Bentley and Janet Pennington; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Henderson Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Hutton officiating. Burial will follow in the Elizabeth Cemetery.
