Charles Waymon "Charlie" McCurry, age 57 of Sparta, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2014 at Highlands Medical Center. Mr. McCurry was born June 15, 1957 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Lloyd McCurry and Lona Ailene Bussell McCurry.
He is also preceded in death by his sisters Joanne Harris, Phyllis Webb,
Judy 'Darlene' McCurry;
step-mother Vertie Eveleen McCurry.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years Angel Margeson McCurry.
Sons: Charles Nathan McCurry, Gideon (Jessica) McCurry, Israel McCurry, Gabriel McCurry, Jericho (Sheyenne) McCurry all of White County, Tennessee.
Grandchildren: Haley, Gracie, Jadeah, Kyler, Tyler, Skyler and Jericho Franklin Waymon McCurry
Brothers: Ricky McCurry, Bo McCurry, Danny McCurry, Leroy McCurry
Sisters: Frances (Richard) Lee and Mildred Alexander
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be Friday, January 9, 2015 in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with interment in Elrod Cemetery.
Justin McCulley will officiate.
Gideon McCurry, Nathan McCurry, Israel McCurry, Jericho McCurry, Ricky McCurry, Bo McCurry, Danny McCurry, Leroy McCurry will serve as pallbearers.
