Renilda Bollig, 94, Hays, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at St. John's of Victoria.

She was born July 26, 1911, in Liebenthal to Anton and Anna Elizabeth (Schaffer) Herrman.

She married Jake L. Bollig on May 5, 1931, in Garden City. He preceded her in death Aug. 19, 1982.

She was a homemaker and an excellent seamstress. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Liebenthal, and St. Ann's Altar Society, Liebenthal.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry Bollig and wife, Edith, Lakewood, Colo., and Anthony Bollig and wife, Ruth, Hays; three daughters, June Marie Miller and husband, Robert, Morrison, Colo., Elsie Rose Davis and husband, Charles, Arvada, Colo., and Shirley Ann Proffitt and husband, Lawrence, Ypsilante, Mich.; 25 grandchildren; four step grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son; four daughters; seven brothers; and seven sisters. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Liebenthal; burial in church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, with parish vigil service at 7:30 p.m., at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 20th and Pine, Hays, KS 67601, and from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday, with St. Ann's Altar Society rosary at 9:15 a.m., at the church.

Memorials are suggested for Masses or to Historical Society of Liebenthal, in care of funeral home.
