Mrs. Lois Rae Champe Blair, 91, resident of Bonnie Blue Lane, died Friday, January 2, 2015 at Signature Health Care.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 12, 2015 at Mr. Moriah Mortuary Chapel in Kansas City, Missouri with Rev. Bill Newby officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday form 1-2:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Oakes & Nichols is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.
The Kansas City, Missouri native was the daughter of the late Lawrence I. Champe and Aurora Howlett Champe. On May 2, 1946 she married Fredrick Andrew Blair who preceded her in death December 26, 2008. She was a member of Crown Pointe Assembly of God in Lees Summit, Missouri.
Survvivors include daughters, Judy-Bryant of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Joy (Charles) Blythe of Columbia; grandchildren, Jason (Demetria) Bryant of Stockton, Missouri, Joshua (Julie) Bryant of Indiana, Bethany (Jon) McShurley of White House, Deborah (Terry) Cain of Spring Hill; great-grandchildren, Simeon Bryant, Anna Bryant, Samuel Bryant, Benjamin Bryant, Abigail Bryant, Honor Bryant of Stockton, Missouri, Niegel Bryant, Gunner Bryant of Indiana, Aidan McShurley and Tristan McShurley of White House, Skyler Cain and Isabella Cain of Spring Hill.
