Mrs. Ruby J. Ohnmeiss, 83, longtime Montoursville resident, passed away at her home on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015.
Born Sept. 20, 1932, at Clearfield, she was the daughter of the late James and Hanna Houser George.
Ruby was retired from the former C.A. Reed Company at Williamsport where she had been a credit manager.
She enjoyed craft painting, playing bingo, and performing crossword puzzles.
Ruby is survived by her son, Keith C. (Cathy) Ohnmeiss, of Montoursville; her granddaughter, Becky (Thomas) Jarvi, of Ypsilanti, Mich.;
her two grandsons,
Chris (Jen) Ohnmeiss, of Marquette, Mich.
and Nick (Michelle) Ohnmeiss, of Marquette, Mich.;
and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her late parents, she was also predeceased by her late husband, Maynard L. Ohnmeiss and her late son, Kent Ohnmeiss.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, at the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home.
The Rev. David Keller, pastor at Heshbon Park United Methodist Church, will officiate.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
Burial will be private at Montoursville Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
