Hollis McGee Kimball was born March 22, 1902 in Fort Fairfield, Maine, and died May 8, 1985 in Fredericton, N.B. In 1926 he left the family farm and became a travelling evangelist for the Reformed Baptist denomination. While holding revival services that year in Havelock, N.S., he first met Stella Mullen, the church pianist, and married her the following year on June 6, 1927.They were married in New Tusket, Nova Scotia. Stella was a daughter of Asa & Mary Mullen. Hollis began pastoral work at Meductic, N.B. in 1929 and continued both pastoral and evangelical work throughout N.B., N.S. and Maine until his retirement in 1966. In 1980, the Corbett Ave. Wesleyan church in Fredericton honoured him by making him Pastor Emeritus. Children of Hollis & Shelia Kimball: Hollis, Dorothy, Reginald, Stella, Kenneth, Carroll, Melba, Maryella, Cheryl.
