GEORGE HEISLER DIED MONDAY AT WEST POINT

Coroner J. D. Butler of this city was called to West Point late Monday to conduct an inquest into the death of George Heisler, who died at his home 4 1/2 miles northwest of that town, from a gunshot wound in the head, apparently self-inflicted...

George Heisler, son of the late Charles and Katherine MeQuillan Heisler, was born in Dallas City township May 19, 1885, and grew to manhood in this neighborhood. He was married to Jeanette Boddeker of the same community and for the past twenty-four years had operated the farm on which they lived, near West Point. Besides the widow, he is survived by a number of children, all of whom are grown to maturity, one son being in the armed service.
