Paul K. Queen, 77, of Bethany passed away Wednesday, January 07, 2015 in his home.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday January 10, 2015 Marrowbone Township Cemetery, Bethany.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday at McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Bethany. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Bethany or the Marrowbone Public Library District, Bethany.
Paul was born September 7, 1937 in Bethany the son of A. Kenneth and Gladys (McGee) Queen. He married Marjory J. Goodall June 6, 1970 in Sullivan. He graduated from Bethany High School. He served in the National Guard during peace time. Paul retired from the Illinois Department of Transportation in 1997. After retirement he drove part time for HPR Automotive and Jim Warren Auto sales. He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Bethany and a member of the Decatur Aero Club. He had a private pilot’s license for many years.
He is survived by his wife Marjory; sister, Marna J. (Jim) Morris of Jackson, TN; nieces and nephews, Audry A. Collins of Berea, KY Larry O. Reeder of Texas, Joe L. Reeder of Texas, James Kenneth Morris of Jackson, TN and Tamara Jane Gulley of Memphis, TN.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara J. Reeder and Janice L. Dinwiddie
