Jack Edward Meyer - 1936-2015

Jack Edward Meyers passed away on January 1, 2015. Born in Detroit and grew up in Wyandotte, Michigan, he graduated from St. Patrick's High School, served in the U.S. Army and graduated from the University of California, Berkley. He moved to Texas and became a confirmed Texan. He and his beloved wife, Pamela Prescott Meyers observed their 47th anniversary in November. Besides his wife, he is survived by his sisters, Thelma Giebel and Dona Kuzava, his loved brother-in-laws, Bob Kuzava and Ron Prescott, 17 nieces and nephews and their families and many close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Edna Meyers, his brothers, Duane (Pete) Meyers and Joseph (Jim) Meyers. Burial is pending, but will be at Veterans Memorial Cemetery, with a Memorial service in the Spring. If you wish, contributions can be made in his name to the Memorial Hermann Foundation, 929 Gessner, Houston, Tx 77024 benefiting Memorial City Hospital Staff, 7th Floor, Building M.
