Jo Ann Stout was born on June 4, 1946, in Marshall Mo. the daughter of Harold and Lorraine (Strecker) Coats. She attended high school in Missouri. She was previously married to Larry Belk. On June 1, 1987, she married Robert Stout in Muscatine Iowa.
Jo Ann worked several years in banking following that she worked for Walnut Grove/ Cargill. The last several years she was office manager for O'Toole's in Letts until her partial retirement.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Atalissa.
Her number one love was her family and was known for her cooing. Jo Ann also enjoyed quilting, gardening, niting, reading and sewing.
She is survived by her husband, Robert of Muscatine, children, include Patricia Stransky, Garrison Alexander, Tracy Schutte Kelly Dowler, Barbara Trafton, Stephanie Martin, and Lindsay Nash. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
