Elizabeth, my 6th great grandmother was the second wife of Colonel William Callaway. It is believed that they married in 1752, as their first child Amelia Callaway was born on June 5, 1753. Three more children followed, Charles b.1754, Joseph b.1756, and Cathlena b.1761. Elizabeth's maiden name has been called into question, because depending on which reference book you use, it was either Crawford, Crowley, or Crawley.
