She was born April 27, 1911 in Red Lodge, Montana the daughter of Francis Gilbert and Addie Aldora Mast Wilson. Mildred married John Alvin Maxwell on June 16, 1936 in Basin, Wyoming. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti, Utah Temple. Mildred graduated from Snow college and later received a B.S. degree at Utah State University. She taught school in Clearfield for 20 years and has many students who loved her.
Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband John A.
Maxwell and daughter Jean Ann Maxwell.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 9, 2001 at 11 a.m. at the Layton 11th Ward, 60 W. Gordon Ave. with Bishop Powell, Officiating. Friends and family may call Saturday from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Lindquist's Layton Mortuary.
