Teresa Elmore of Idalou passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015 at the age of 57. She was born September 19, 1957 in Lockney, Texas to Donald Eugene and Marilynn (Jones) Clarkston. She married Keith Elmore on September 20, 1996 at Oak Creek Lake near Blackwell, Texas. She was a member of Builders Baptist Church in Merkel, Texas.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Keith; mother. Marilynn; daughters, Shawnee Gilbreath and husband Jimmy and Amy Swartz and husband Brian; son, Jarod Elmore and wife Amy; sisters, Debbie Shedd and husband Charles and Kim Macon and husband Willie; and seven grandchildren.
Teresa was preceded in death by her father; son, Donald Fields; paternal grandparents, J.M. and Rosa Clarkston; maternal grandparents, B.D. and Eula Jones; uncle, Mickey Clarkston; and a nephew, Jeremy Shedd.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Oak Creek Lake near Blackwell, Texas. Burial of cremains will follow at Macon Resthaven in Nolan County.
