Visitation was last evening from 6-9 p.m. at Faith Church. The funeral service will be today at 2 p.m. at Faith Church with Henry Melton and Bill Barlow officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Robin was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marvin and Barbara Gresham and Crite and Grace Fields, and mother-in-law, Sherrin Wood.
She is survived by her husband, Gil; children, Ben, Daniel, and Emily; parents, Brenda and Ray "Red" Gresham; brothers, Greg and Rusty Gresham; and sisters, Janet Gresham Barlow and Stacy Gresham Suggs.
From the very beginning of Robin's parenthood, Christ was the foundation of her family. Her faith did not wither when she found out that she was sick and even more true to her very last breath. Cancer is an ugly, terrible disease and Robin found a way to be a beacon of light on the darkest of days. Every person that she met knew that she was different. Robin always put others happiness before her own. She would do anything she could to make people smile, because when everyone else was happy it made her happy. Robin was one of a kind and loved her family and children above all else. She was an irreplaceable sister, aunt, mother, wife, and friend. Do not weep for her loss, but rejoice for the amazing life that she lived.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Gresham, Michael Peter, Spenser Suggs, Patrick Gresham, Stuart Suggs, and Bill Barlow.
