Robert M. Paine, 83, of Avon, husband of Elizabeth (Michaud) Paine, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2014. Born in Somerville, NJ, son of the late Michael and Rosemarie (Saleski) Paine, he was raised in Middlesex, NJ and received his BS from Rutgers University. He also held advanced degrees in finance. During the Korean War he served in the US Army, and operated Executive Planning Consultants in Avon for over 30 years. Robert was a communicant of the Church of Saint Ann, and a member of the Men of Saint Ann. He served on the Avon Republican Town Committee and was a former member of the Golf Club of Avon. Besides his wife of 32 years, Robert leaves three sons, Stuart R. Paine and wife Katherine of VA, Harrison R. Paine and Benjamin M. Paine both of Avon; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Lou Viswat. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Ann, 289 Arch Road, Avon, Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10 am followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery.
