Lois Carwile George, June 9, 1931 - January 7, 2015
Lois Carwile George, age 83, of Leitchfield passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at the Grayson Manor Nursing Facility. She was born June 9, 1931 in McDaniels, KY the daughter of Charles Henry & Maragaret Carwile.
She is survived by two children, Violet Allen of Owensboro & Roy Allen of Las Vegas, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren, one sister, Lillian Evans of Morgantown, one brother, Harry Carwile (Nadine) of Leitchfield, several nieces & nephews. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday (Jan 11, 2015) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Directors. Burial will be in the McDaniels Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday (Jan 10, 2015) and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations to help with the funeral expenses.
