David Reed Tran, 52, of Raleigh passed away peacefully Monday December 29, 2014 at Transitions LifeCare (formally Hospice of Wake County) after a short courageous battle with cancer.
Dave was born in Washington, D. C. and lived most of his life in Raleigh. A graduate of Millbrook High School he had been employed by the State of North Carolina and the United Way of the Triangle.
He was preceded in death by his father David J. Tran of Silver Springs, MD and mother Amy Garner Tran of Union, S.C.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Union Memorial Gardens in Union, South Carolina. Rev. Brian Childers of Hebron Baptist Church will conduct the ceremony.
