She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Liberty.
Surviving are three daughters, Sheryl Lyons (Jim) of Jefferson, GA, Brenda Boggs (Doug) of Central, and Wanda Duncan of Columbia; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was the last survivor of her immediate family.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, Edward W. "Buck" Dodson, Jr.
Funeral services: Friday, January 9, 2015, Liberty Mortuary Chapel.
Burial: Liberty Memorial Gardens.
