Daisy Mayberry, 86, Glenwood

Funeral services for Daisy Marie Mayberry, 86, Glenwood were held August 24 at Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood. The Rev. Kenneth McIntyre officiated, with burial in Malvern cemetery.

Mrs. Mayberry passed away August 21, 1990, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs.

She was born May 25, 1904 in Glenwood, the daughter of John and Sarah Johnson. She married Frank Richards in 1925, Homer Mayberry in 1960. She was a former resident of the Silver City area.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, two sisters, two brothers, and one grandson.

Survivors include five daughters, Barbara Smith of St. Petersburg, Fla., Rua Haddock of Granby, Colo., Carole Eberle of Scranton, Ia., Suzanna O'Brien of Alvin, Tex., and JoAnn Evans of Los Angeles; 21 grandchildren, 38 great-granchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Ardis Dusenberry was the organist at the funeral service. Pallbearers were Forrest Johnson, Jerry Bruna, Robert Satterlee, Robert McLaughlin, Bill Wright, and Edwin Johnson.
