Frances L. Hunter (Morehart), 96, passed away peacefully at her home in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Wednesday, January 31. She was born on Aug. 29, 1921, in Fairfield County, Ohio, to the late Emery L. Morehart and Ethel M. Morehart (Markwood). Frances grew up Fairfield County, but lived in Columbus, Ohio most of her adult life. She worked at Curtiss-Wright during WWII, contributing to the war effort. She later worked at Lazarus and Ohio National Bank. She loved collecting Hummels and Beanie Babies, solving puzzles, watching game shows, and the Cincinnati Reds. She enjoyed playing euchre, earning her many lifelong friends. She will be remembered for making crocheted gifts. Nearly everyone she knew has some of her handiwork with which to remember her. Frances was predeceased by her husband, Daniel F. Hunter, Jr., her parents, Emery and Ethel Morehart, and her brothers, Harold, Lewis, and Dorwin Morehart. She leaves her three children: Frank Hunter, Kay Lytle (husband Nelson), and Carole Crebs (husband Ken); grandchildren: Don Harris, Shelly Salazar (husband Abel), Jill Harris, Jason Hunter, Dan Crebs, and Sarah Cooley (husband Michael); great-grandchildren: Noah Salazar, Parker Salazar, Kristina Harris, Angeline Harris, Angela Cooley, and Megan Cooley. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Family will welcome friends from 2 p.m. until the start of Frances' funeral at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. Graveside burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at Lithopolis Cemetery, 4365 Cedar Hill Rd., Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110.
