Mrs. Annie B. Andersen, died at the family home Monday evening after a short illness from influenza-pneumonia.
Mrs. Andersen was born in Denmark, January 8, 1856 and when 2 years of age, came to Utah with her parents, Christian and Elsie Brotherson. The family lived only a few years in Moroni until they moved to Mt. Pleasant, which had been Mrs. Andersen's home for more than half a century.
She was married in 1881 to Rasmus Andersen, a pioneer, settler and an Indian war veteran. Mr. Andersen died 10 years ago. Mrs. Andersen was for may years an active worker in club, religious and fraternal circles. She was a charter member of Ivy chapter, No, 10. O. E. S., and a charter member of the Home Culture Club.
She was the mother of eight children, only three of whom survive her, Mrs. Eloise A. McClure of Albuquerque, N.M.; Mrs. Roy F. Campbell of Long Beach, Cal., and Russell Andersen of Mt. Pleasant. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Mrs. David Senfield of Long Beach, Cal., and three brothers, Martin Brotherson of Mt. Pleasant, Hyrum Arnoldson of Ely, Nev., and Hans Arnoldsen of Moroni.
